TCAS new offices building inaugurated

The Tanzania Catholic Association Sisters (TCAS) new building (to become new offices for TCAS) was officially inaugurated by the Most Reverend Polycarp Cardinal Pengo, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam recently at Tegeta in Dar es Salaam.

During the inauguration, the Cardinal commended the nuns for efforts and wished them successes for the good work that God has started and fulfilled according the blessings he has given.

“God’s plans never fail, because he blesses every good act. You should make sure you maintain your unity since you are all united,” the Cardinal pointed out.

He also advised the nuns to make sure that they work closely with the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam in order to achieve more activities to come.

Addressing the event participants, the TCAS Chairman Sr. Gaspara Kashamba thanked the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) and all Bishops for their full support towards the project, all nuns, contractors and all people who participated in the process to construct the office.

She further said that, the building will be used as TCAS offices, while the next plan is to construct the conference hall and hostels.

The Tanzania Catholic Association Sisters (TCAS) Secretary, Sr Claudia Mashambo praised God for giving them the new office, because it will be helpful in their missions while pursuing with the process to construct a hostel and conference hall.
